Conveniently located in one corner of my underground playroom,
is the prison cell. Rather lightly nicknamed my Terry Waite Suite, a
stay inside should be taken anything but lightly. At just 2m x 2m x
3m, with a cold flagstone floor, a concrete wall on two sides, and
bars on the other two, this is no hotel room. Once locked in here,
with the playroom door closed upstirs you will be totally lost in the
darkness, and your own thoughts!
So how long could you take this sort of isolation? Totally naked, and manacled to the floor, in the darkness, with no idea when you will see daylight, or freedom, again. Was that voices? footsteps, Are they coming to the cell? No, perhaps you imagined it. Perhaps it was the ghost that is known to haunt this 500 year old house. Perhaps Madam Dee has forgotten you. No, that is silly, she wouldn't' t do that...would she? Perhaps you are slowly going mad with just your own imagination for company. Perhaps that is her plan
